Welcome to the home of After Now, an organization founded in early 2007 to create and share imaginative new music for thoughtful and adventurous listeners in Baltimore.

Every After Now concert is a program of all new works composed especially for the musicians who have agreed to perform on that concert. The entire process of each event - from idea to composition to final rehearsal to premiere - moves very quickly, and the energy and immediacy are evident in every concert.

August 12, 2010 at the Red Room in Baltimore, After Now presented compositions without performers, surrounding listeners with sophisticated electronic sonic hypnotism. Composers Mark A. Lackey and Samuel Burt welcomed back After Now emeriti C.R. Kasprzyk and Andrew Cole and guest composer Jeff Carey.
